The energy 8 is equipped with a person interface and battery loading technique. After inserting the NiCd/NiMH rechargeable battery, a size quick exam is performed for around 5 seconds. The user may after remove the cells or leave them in place so that a full diagnosis of the battery is dead and with damaged batteries a refreshing programm is invoked. Damaged cells are reactivated and the capacity of the battery is restored. Depending upon the condition of the inserted mobile, the refreshing programm may cycle various times until the battery is regenerated.
